I have researched this to help candidates (who are yet to apply) to know the O’level subjects they will be examined on as aspiring Business Administrators in Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics or those studying the course under education.

Subject Combination for Business Administration

To apply for Business Administration in JAMB, you need these subjects:

  1. English Language (compulsory for all courses)
  2. Mathematics,
  3. Economics and
  4. Any other Social Science subject.

In addition to knowing the subjects to write in the exam, candidates preparing for JAMB UTME 2024 are expected to use the approved syllabus to know areas of concentration in order to obtain high scores.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board will by April or May conduct the UTM Examination for entrance into undergraduate degree programmes in Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges and Vocational Schools.

O’Level Requirements

You need to have five SSCE credits including English, Mathematics, Economics, plus any two of Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Government, Geography, and Statistics.

Direct Entry Requirements

These are the conditions you need to fulfil to secure Direct Entry admission to study Business Administration if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You need to have two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics.
