Structure of Faculty of Arts

The number of courses in the Faculty of Arts changes from university to university. Sometimes from country to country.

For instance, the Faculty of Arts in the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria comprises Departments of Fine and Applied Arts, Mass Communication, Linguistics and African Studies, English and Literature, Foreign Languages, History and International Studies, and Philosophy and Religions.

In some universities, there are modifications to what they call some of these departments. For instance, History and International Studies is known as International Relations and Diplomacy in some institutions.
