Trees

by Chinyere Nwosu

Tell the botanist about the lush

Remind him of the days of the sprout

Emerging from the ground, the green and the oak

Extending to the heavens hoping to touch the blue sky

So is life and all it brings with it.

About The Poem

The poem compares life to a tree. Just as trees grow and blossom, life also expands in many ways. It encourages us to reach for the sky and achieve our aims in life.
