In this fast-paced, beautifully choreographed thriller, Karen Gillan plays a lethal assassin who finds herself on the run after refusing to kill a young girl.
While fleeing the mysterious organization that wants to end her contract, Gillan discovers an unexpected ally in the mother she thought she had lost (played by Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey) and a trio of brutally effective hitwomen (Angela Bassett, Michelle Yeoh, Carla Gugino).
The film redefines patriarchy smashing with nonstop action and an impressive ensemble of leading ladies.
2. Finding ʻOhana (2021)

Pili and her older brother embark on a Hawaiian odyssey in search of the trove, which connects them with their ancient island heritage.
Finding ‘Ohana is a touching family drama set in the breathtaking beauty of Hawaii, similar to The Goonies.
3. Untold: Crimes & Penalties (2021)

What happens when a waste-removal magnate with mob ties decides to buy a minor league hockey team and appoint his teenage son as general manager and president?
Jimmy Galante brought the Danbury Trashers to his Connecticut hometown in 2004 and had his 17-year-old son, A.J., run the UHL expansion team for two wild, brawl-filled seasons — a run that eventually led to a massive FBI bust that landed the elder Galante in prison and forced the team to disband. Part Slap Shot, part The Sopranos (Galante was rumored to be the real-life inspiration for Tony Soprano, after all), the Trashers’ outrageous story is almost too unbelievable to believe.
Nonetheless, the documentary is jam-packed with interviews and archival footage, including ESPN broadcasts from the Trashers’ brief run, that emphasize how genuine this bizarre sports saga was. When you’re finished with this story, make sure to watch the other documentaries in the Untold series.
4. Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio (2022)

In this stop-motion animated adaptation of Carlo Collodi’s 1883 novel The Adventures of Pinocchio, one of Hollywood’s most visionary filmmakers takes on one of the most beloved tales in children’s literature.
The film, which stars Ewan McGregor, David Bradley, and Gregory Mann as Jiminy Cricket, Gepetto, and Pinocchio, respectively, follows the marionette Pinocchio on his quest to become a living boy, which takes him through one adventure after another.
Among the voice actors are John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, Tim Blake Nelson, Christoph Waltz, and Tilda Swinton. Some critics have named it one of the year’s best-animated films.
5. Bullet Train (2022)
