We are consistently attracted to colours that are bright and alive and tend to withdraw from the muted because we think they are dull and lifeless. Colours have the power to make us happy, sad, relaxed, or anxious. The effects stem from the psychological prints that colours make on us, their cultural connotations, and biological conditioning.

Based on temperature, a colour can either be warm or cool.
