17 Jan Celebrating Nigeria #Independenceday Poetry Edition
Celebrating Nigeria Independenceday Poetry Edition is a poetryrain event organised by HQ Words to celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day.
Celebrating Nigeria #Independenceday Poetry Edition
We celebrated Nigeria at 61 with 19 poems from fifteen poets. A beautiful showcase of talent, wisdom, and love. These poets share their love, thoughts, and hopes for their nation in well-crafted poetic lines that reverberate in your mind and heart. The message of the poems and audience response echo – Nigerians live and dream for a better tomorrow. Despite all odds, they firmly believe in their nation.
This vibrant display of poetic expressions marks HQ Words’ first Poetry Rain Independence Day event, a step forward in fulfilling our mission of using expression – words and body language to educate, build, and entertain. We believe that words construct according to their settings. Therefore, we speak in ways that bring clarity, healing, and conscious decisions for individual and group development and progress.
You can access the poems here.
