hiding behind a curtain

Behind The Curtain

Behind The Curtain
(A collaboration with the revered Poetess, RAW DIAMOND)

Do not look onto me
With that eyes, eyebrowed
For the pitiful
Blinkings, Oh mountains
Of retardation, dilating colours
Of scornful grilled…
For behind this wounded frame,
Sidetracked destiny is
A soul, completely wrapped
In roaring talents, longing for
The field of my latent dominion
Will you allow me my own to be,
All who holds the rein,
My soul cries!
Aaron Blackie
With passion erupting
Like lava
I cry
But the volcano in me has died
I fear my life
From thine’s
Perception of who I am
Has been denied
For who holds the hand
Of stagnation
Hence swim with me
Against the Current
For I want not to die
Lest I’ve tried
And walk beside me
Though the path be narrow
For in my world
God’s grace is eventide
And eternal life is nigh.
RAW Diamond
l will swim with you, sailing-mate
Of the uneven grounds,
For I have tested of the grimed spittles
Of this bended pathway journeys
And make life on our own rein-
Beauty out of these ashes: For
The human heart is made
To soar like the eagle, above the clouds
Of constrainedness, no matter
The vessel constrained, housing it…
I am an angel with broken
Wings, yet bounded unto my angelic
Missions… For behind the
Broken bones, lies visions of uncharted
Worlds, pregnant pathways untakened,
Begging for anchormen of the sea,
For the ships to sail on our own
Sailing through the wavery waters of life!
Aaron Blackie
Adrift upon the stormy waters
Where lightning strikes
It is then that they see me
When their floodgates
Come crashing in
Wrecked
Salvaged
On the shore
In the morn
The calm after the
Already forgotten hostile storm
Broken unto damnation’s curse
It is your smile
That emits
Their weak eagle screeching
Unto the realisation
That inner strength
Is obtained from
Adversity, misfortune, woundedness and pain
RAW Diamond
indeed, in adversity I
Have learnt to hold my rein,
To hear clearly,
To listen deeply
The voices, the whispers
The bubbled whistles
Of the untoward storms,
And navigates the otherworldly
Pathways to the shorelines–
The purposed essence of it all…
In my woundedness,
I have courted patience along the way To the healing home
In patience, I have slowed down
The tides of time to my own paddle,
Competing with no one,
By reasons of misfortune, yielding,
To the call of extra-margin
Of efforts, sailing mate, we
Digged deeper into the treasures
Hidden in darkness; though
Tongues of darkness, in crudity,
Did lashed out on our fragility
Aaron Blackie
Yes, for the answers lay
Behind the curtains
Whilst we dared to keep the shutters open
And from the windows to the soul
This is where the light sailed in
For it is in the heart
In the core of our being
Where the wings of every angel
Lay hidden
Never broken
For triumphant
Is the angel
Who lives their purpose
Knowing that
The eagle’s home is nested
On the tallest mountain top
Only to soar
Once we have dived
Into the waters
For our redemption.
